Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that the absence of Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi remains his biggest headache.
Several strikers like Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi and Kelechi Iheanacho are firing in the goals in Europe and could pose a selection headache for the Eagles coach.
But Rohr said by far his biggest worry is injury to top stars like Ndidi, who is nursing a recurring hamstring injury.
“Ndidi not back, this is a big headache for me,” Rohr admitted in an interview with Elegbete TV.
The highly-rated defensive midfielder, 24, missed this month’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic.
It is also left to be seen whether he will be fit in time for next month’s qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde as he has yet to return to full-game action.
He last played for his Premier League club on September 25 in a 2-2 draw with Burnley.
