PDP South Africa re-elects chairman

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), South Africa Chapter, has re-elected Ekos Akpokabayen as its chairman.

Akpokabayen emerged after the party’s elective congress held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He and other executive members will pilot the affairs of the chapter for the next four years.

PDP South Africa, Publicity Secretary, Michael Evah, who disclosed this in a statement, said the election was a two-horse race between a member of the party’s Board of Trustees, Tunji Omotola, and the incumbent Akpokabayen.

“Hon. Ekos Akpokabayen came out with a landslide victory as the chairman-elect of the People’s Democratic Party South Africa Chapter. The elected vice-chairman is Hon. Dr. Emeka Egwu while Hon. Rev. Alex Waniko was elected as the chapter’s Secretary-General”, he said.
