A former student journalist at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Tomilola Boyinde is covering the ongoing World Expo 2020 Dubai where all countries gather to showcase their new inventions, innovations, arts and cultures to the world and to find lasting solutions to the challenges facing humanity.
Expo 2020 Dubai is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region.
Tomilola, who is the Media Ambassador of DP World, the Premier Global Trade Partner of the Expo 2020 Dubai, has been reporting the historic event since it started. He shares photographs and detailed information about new inventions and innovations on exhibitions across his social media platforms.
Speaking on the documenting, Boyinde noted that it is necessary to bring the event closer to citizens of the world who are not privileged to be at the Expo site by photographing and writing about what different countries have on exhibition at their dedicated pavilions.
“This is to make people aware of the new inventions that will change the way they live for good in the coming years and to keep them informed about the efforts people are making to make the world a better place,” he said.
The World Expo is the largest event that brings together all the countries to showcase their new inventions, innovations, arts and cultures, and to discuss how to make the world a better place for everyone. Expo 2020 Dubai is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region since it started in 1851.
