Foundation begins third clothing drive for indigent kids

King Homes Charity (KHC) has announced the third edition of its clothing drive program to provide proper clothing for children living in underserved communities, and also seek public donations and sponsorship.

The clothing drive program is an annual initiative that was launched in 2020. The team collects slightly used and new clothing from donors across Nigeria, repackages and distributes them to beneficiaries in underserved communities.

Founder of KHC Stephen Ogunjobi said: “Our goal at King Homes Charity is to promote community development through child development. We saw the need to provide proper clothing for people living in underserved communities, and a lot of people have benefited from the initiative.”

Stephen added that this year’s edition will extend to other countries outside Nigeria. “W are extending the program beyond Nigeria  as our team of volunteers in other countries are helping to clothe underprivileged children in their localities too.

To continue to provide for these children and make the world a better place for them, we will need the help of all well-meaning members of the public to put clothes on their bodies and smiles on their faces,” Stephen added.

King Homes Charity is a youth-run non-profit organisation motivated by its desire to continuously broaden its scope of services to children in underserved communities lacking basic education and welfare.
