The Professionals’ Council of All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the choice of Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong as director-general of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Organisation is a blessing.
Its Director-General, Oluseyi Bamigbade, said Lalong would bridge the religious gap and lead the party to victory.
Bamigbade, in a statement, argued that Lalong’s choice showed that the APC was prepared for the 2023 elections.
He said: “We hail the choice of Lalong as director-general. He is the most competent and fit to lead the campaign of APC presidential candidate.
“Governor Lalong is a detribalised, resourceful, ingenious and practical politician, an adept listener and a leader with the knack for getting results where others cannot succeed. I congratulate him on his appointment and unveiling as director general of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign.
“Governor Lalong has proved he is a unifier, a strategist, a mobiliser, a team-player, and a leader par excellence.”
