School Children and passersby escaped death or injury yesterday when a diesel tanker exploded near Kingdom Heritage Model School, belonging to Living Faith Church, in Jahi district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
No casualty was recorded, but the incident that was said to have occurred around noon caused panic, with parents rushing to the school to pick up their children and wards.

The Nation gathered that the tanker was at the petrol station to discharge its products.
Spokesman of fire service, Ibrahim Muhammad, said the tanker was burnt, adding that the fire was put out.
