‘We’ll give APC 80 per cent of votes in 2023’

Tinubu

JAGABANISTS Nationwide Support Group has said it will deliver 80 per cent of votes in 2023 for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential standardbearer,  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The group said the insults hurled at Tinubu by People’s Democratic Party and Labour Party presidential candidates, Alhaji  Abubakar Atiku and Peter Obi  won’t derail the party from ensuring a wide margin victory for its candidate.

National Coordinator, Temitope Omotayo, spoke in Ado Ekiti, during a rally to mobilise support for Tinubu.

Omotayo said Tinubu ranks above Atiku and Obi in contributions to Nigeria’s democratic growth.

He noted that the group was formed to canvass votes for Tinubu in 774  local governments and 176,846 units, describing the insults as  “noisemaking” APC won’t allow to neither derail nor distract its focus.

Omotayo appealed to Nigerians to vote for a man with rich credentials, rather than playing into the hands of “neophytes.

He said: “We have been following his antecedents, especially how he contributed to nation building from the NADECO era…We are focused on our major goal, which is winning the presidency…

“We are supporting and mobilising for him because he has the vision and he showed this when he was Lagos State governor.

‘’Under him, infrastructural development, legal and security developement were utmost. Many states copied their economic blueprints from Lagos.

State Coordinator, Akinlua Oyenike, said their  coordinators in all 16 councils , 177 wards and 2445 units of Ekiti have commenced mobilisation for Tinubu ahead  of the poll.
