Asiwaju Solidarity Movement (ASM) in Alimosho Federal Constituency under its apex leader, Princess Adejoke Orelope- Adefulire at the weekend gathered in Alimosho to offer prayers and galvanise votes for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2023.
The Chief Host, Hon Sola Popoola, who welcomed over 1,000 mothers that came from across the Alimosho federal Constituency for the special prayer event tagged: “The mother’s prayer for the nation” expressed delight at the turnout.
APC Vice chairman for Lagos West, Chief Babatunde Aboyade, emphasised the need for all party members to elect Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu and all our party candidates at all levels.

The opening prayer was conducted in Islamic faith by Imam Mudashiru Abdul Kareem, Chief Imam Alimosho Central Mosque
The Christian prayer ushered by Pastor Samson Akinolugbade was spirit filled with references to Genesis 21:15-20 on the need for Mother’s prayer at this critical state of peace, economy transformation, well-being and success.

While the Islamic prayer of the day was done by Al imam Bashir Mojasola.
Adejoke-Orelope said the prayer was to seek godly intervention and successful polls for all Lagos politicians, including candidates under Alimosho local government in 2023.
At the event, Dr. Orelope added her voice in prayers for God’s intervention in victory for all party candidates come 2023 elections as Alimosho local government plays critical roles in Lagos politics and cannot afford to be downgraded in forthcoming elections.
Hon Amodu Ejalonibu stated that party faithful in the local government needed to work harder to amass four million votes.
