A 27-year-old lawyer Victory Okolie, who is battling stage 4 lung cancer, needs N10m for urgent medical intervention.
It all started sometime ago with constant tight chest pains for the lady who has never drunk nor smoked. When the pain started, she was diagnosed and treated for ulcer.
However, it became severe and resulted into a massive pleural effusion, leading to 4440mls of fluid being drained from her lungs at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Series of further investigations by different hospitals showed and confirmed that she has lung cancer. Her condition requires urgent medical intervention, which informed her soliciting help from kind hearted individuals, families and corporate bodies to raise N10m.
Okolie is on treatment offered by the Consultant Oncologist to relieve her of pain, but the main illness is still untreated because of lack of funds.
