Osun West agog as Oyetola leads Tinubu, Tadese to Iwo

Thousands of residents in Osun West Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) standard-bearer, as former Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola led campaign for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Osun West senatorial candidate, Raheem Tadese, to the district.

Oyetola, who kicked-off campaign in the district, described Osun West as the bedrock of APC in the state, “hence members and supporters must secure victory for party’s candidates at the polls.”

The ex-governor, who was represented by former House of Representatives Speaker Patricia Etteh, presented the APC flag to Tadese, saying the party would field the best candidates for the general election.

Tadese, former Osun State Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy, said Osun West was home to the APC, hoping that the party would emerge victorious in the general election.

He said: “I will not let the people of Osun West down. I showed capacity when I served as the commissioner. I delivered 42 motorised borehole, 532 hand-pumping borehole, 107 sanitation facilities, among others.”
