The All Progressives Congress (APC) is already leading in four of the five local government areas that make up Taraba South Senatorial District.
Governor Darius Ishaku is the PDP candidate for the zone while House of Representatives member for Wukari/Ibi, Danjuma Shiddi and David Jimkuta are laying claim to the seat at the Supreme Court as APC candidates.
Feelers in the State are the duo has collaborated to frustrate Ishaku from emerging as senator in the zons.

From the results so far released from Donga, Wukari, Ibi and Ussa, show APC is leading with 73,832 votes while PDP has 35,670 votes as results from Takum- the Governor’s local government area are being awaited.
