Senator Uche Ekwunife (Anambra Central) has congratulated Senator Victor Umeh for winning Saturday’s National Assembly election in Anambra.
Ekwunife, in a statement by her Special Adviser, Media, Kingsley Ubani said she has accepted the election outcome, urging her constituents and critical stakeholders to support the Senator-elect as he prepares to represent the people in the 10th Senate.
She expressed gratitude to God for a peaceful poll and for his guidance and protection throughout the long and intense campaign season.

“I appreciate members of my campaign organization, various support groups and individuals who worked tirelessly in support of my candidacy. I urge them to accept the outcome of the election in good faith.
“I assure Ndi Anambra Central that the outcome of the election will not dampen my spirit and desire to offer them quality and effective representation in the remaining months of my stay in office.
“I reiterate my commitment to finishing strongly in line with my promises to the people of the zone,” the statement reads.
