The Vice-Chancellor, Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State, Prof William Qurix has been hailed for transforming the university during his tenure.
Qurix’s tenure would end on Monday after serving for six years as Vice – Chancellor.
A former Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Prof Suleiman Bogoro said Qurix transformed the university after taking over.
Prof Bogoro spoke during the valedictory lecture in honour of Qurix delivered by the Secretary – General, Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, Prof Yakubu Ochefu on Thursday.

Bogoro commended his contributions to research and also for ensuring that the medical science programme of the university was approved.
Vice- Chancellor, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Prof Suleiman Mohammed hailed the transformation of the university under Qurix.
He said Qurix laid the foundation of massive infrastructure for the coming Vice Chancellor.
He described the incoming VC as a top intellectual who has been in the system.
Speakers at the event hailed the contributions of Prof Qurix to the development of Bingham University.
