Not every broke guy has a great future – Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi

Relationship therapist Solomon Buchi has dished out advice to young women regarding settling down with a broke man.

Taking to his X account, Buchi shared his thoughts on the common belief that financial stability alone defines a person’s character and potential as a spouse.

He asserted that being a broke guy does not necessarily correlate with being a good person or having a promising future.

He argued that contrary to the popular belief that money bridges all gaps and a requisite for a happy marriage, he said poverty should not be equated with virtue.

According to Buchi, women should exercise caution when selecting a life partner, whether considering a broke guy or a rich one.

He said: “Not every broke guy is good. Not every broke guy has a great future. Not every broke guy has a vision. Not every broke guy will make a wonderful husband.

“Be careful when choosing a broke guy like you would when trying to choose a rich guy. Poverty is not another name for virtue.”
