The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has set up a special committee for the purpose of screening all PDP aspirants hoping to participate in the forthcoming PDP governorship primary election in Ondo State.
According to the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Debo Ologunagba, the screening exercise is scheduled to take place at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza in Abuja next Wednesday
In a statement issued on Saturday, Ologunagba urged all PDP governorship aspirants, critical stakeholders, leaders and party members to take note of the date and prepare accordingly.

He also stated that a former governor, Senator Sam Egwu is going to act as chairman of the screening committee while the PDP Zonal Secretary for the South West, Chief Rahman Owokoniran will be Secretary.
The three female members of the Committee are Mrs. Olivia Dazyman, Ambassador Gladys Ashemuke, and Ms Caroline Akinsete who is the committee’s Administrative Secretary.
Other members of the screening committee are Senator Isa Shuaibu Lau, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, and Mr. Tanko Beji.
