Rising star, Qing Madi, has credited her mother with discovering her talent and encouraging her to pursue a career in music.
In a recent interview with KimOprah on Hip TV’s Trending, the 17-year-old singer revealed that her mother was more passionate about her talent than she was, and pushed her to develop her skills.
“I didn’t realise I could sing, my mom did. She was the one that was very forward with my career when I wasn’t passionate about it.

“She wanted it more than I wanted it. I wanted to be a lot of things, not an artist,” she said.
Qing Madi, whose real name is Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, gained widespread recognition with her viral hits “See Finish” and “Ole” featuring BNXN.
