Tinubu mourns death of Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader, Iwuanyanwu

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, who passed away on Thursday, July 25.

Chief Iwuanyanwu was a renowned businessman and politician, and his death has been described as an irreparable loss to the Imo State Government, his friends and associates, and the Igbo community.

In a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu praised Chief Iwuanyanwu’s remarkable legacy, saying he will always be remembered for his contributions.

The president also prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

“The President affirms that Chief Iwuanyanwu will always be remembered for his remarkable legacy.

“President Tinubu prays for the repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman and comfort to his family”, the statement said.
