Ikorodu City FC head coach, Bright Ozebagbe, is the second high profile manager to be relieved of his  duties in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season following his resignation from the newly promoted side.

In a statement on the club’s X handle, the club said that Ozebagbe resigned from his role after the defeat to Plateau United in Jos and that the search for a new coach has begun in earnest.

Ozebagbe promoted the Lagos base side from the Nigeria National League last season but has failed to win any game in the Nigerian top-flight for the Oga Boys.

He followed the path of Eugene Agagbe who has just been sacked by Lobi Stars due to unimpressive results. The former Lobi Stars coach has been replaced by Daniel Amokachi.
