Residents of the Iletuntun Community in Ido Local Government Area, Oyo State, have appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde through the council chairman, Hon. Sherif Adeojo, to address the deteriorating state of their roads, drainages, solar lights, and other essential amenities.
According to the residents, these improvements are necessary to alleviate the hardships faced by the community.
During a commissioning ceremony for new developmental projects and a fundraising event held in Iletuntun, the community chairman, Olasunkanmi Okuneye emphasized the importance of adequate infrastructure for the progress and development of the area.

He commended Hon. Adedeji Adebowale, the donor of the newly constructed entrance gate, noting that the project will strengthen security in the community.
Hon. Sherif Adeojo, the Chairman of Ido Local Government, praised both the donor and the community for their collaborative efforts with the government, highlighting that such partnerships are essential since the government cannot meet every need on its own.
He described Hon. Adebowale as a proactive leader dedicated to representing his people and addressing their needs.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibe, traditional rulers, community leaders, and security agencies, among others.
