Ondo, Osun, Ekiti collaborate to strengthen cooperation

The Governments of Ondo, Osun and Ekiti states are strengthening the Open Government Partnership concept to enhance good governance in the states.

At a Southwest regional meeting on Open Government Partnership held in Akure, Ondo State on Friday, the State and non-state actors from Ondo, Osun, and Ekiti states reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening OGP in the three states.

The meeting facilitated by the African Center for Leadership, Strategy and Development, (Center LSD), was attended by top government officials and leaders of civil society organizations from the three states.

The state and non-state actors presented reports on OGP progress in the states and promised to step up their efforts to ensure service delivery to the people.

The OGP non-State Actor Co-Chairmen from Ekiti, Osun, and Ondo, Prof. Christopher Oluwadare, Mr. Micheal Ebofin, and Chief Pius Akomolafe as well as the Osun OGP State Actor Co-Chair Prof Moruf Ademola Adeleke who is also the Commissioner for Planning, Budget and Development and his Information counterpart, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi said they were committed to strengthening OGP in their states to ensure service delivery to the people.
