Box-2-Box bags second Legend Cup

Box-2-Box FC of Lagos has yet again  clinched  the Legend  Cup  for the second successive  time  following a 2-0 spanking of Charlesan FC  recently  in the grand finale of the tournament held at  the Legacy Pitch of National Stadium  in Surulere, Lagos.

In an energy sapping encounter between the two gladiators, it was the  former Nigeria Junior International Jubril Azeez  that gave Box-2-Boxthe lead before Charlesan  conceded  an own goal  following a goal mouth melee thereafter.

Famous  for producing a crop of talented youngsters  including  newly  discovered  Super Eagles’ striker, Tolu Arokodare  who plies his trade with Genk in the Belgium, Box-2-Box according to one of its principal officials, Igabayilola Ariyo,  would continue to work  hard in order to maintain its  tradition of producing talented players.

 “We are really delighted with this victory, and we are really proud of young lads despite the fact that the majority of our players had travelled to Europe for greener pastures,” Ariyo who manages the team along with Shira Akeem Yusuf, said. “We have a  new set of players and they  are greatly  continuing on the strong  pedestal of our past players.

“ This  is really giving  us a lot of  joy and we believe the best is even  yet to come because  we  are getting better, and better as a team.”
