The visibly traumatised lounge owner, Adekunle, narrating his ordeal to newsmen at the NUJ Correspondent Chapel, on Friday, alleged that he was nearly killed during the attack by Adedokun, the Second-In-Command of Anti-Robbery Squad and his men.
He explained that Adedokun came to his lounge and was ordering three of his staff around after which he directed the staff to leave him and attend to other customers.
“I told Adedokun that if he had any complaint, he should talk to my manager. This infuriated him, and he told me that he would show me pepper. A few minutes later, I saw armed policemen arrive at my lounge, and he ordered that I should sit on the floor. I told him to take me to the station rather than humiliate me in front of my staff.
