Abia State Government has said it will meet with the Joint
Health Sector Unions (JOHESU), over arrears of salary owed health workers.

JOHESU has issued a 15-day ultimatum to the government to pay arrears owed members of the union or risk shutdown of the health sector.
Information Commissioner Chief John Okiyi-kalu said the government was meeting with the union leaders to tackle issues around the salary owed health workers.
