Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has said his administration will carry out channelisation at the flood prone areas, to end perennial flooding in Abeokuta.
He promised to pay those who lost belongings.
The governor spoke yesterday when he visited the areas affected by last weekend’s torrential rain.
He regretted the huge loss caused by the flood, thanking God that nobody died.
Areas inspected by Governor Abiodun are Isale-Oja, Ago-Ijesha and Ijeun Titun, all in Abeokuta.
