Abuja wears new look ahead Buhari’s inauguration

Preparations are in top gear for the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term in office.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has renovated the Eagle Square, venue of the swearing-in ceremony to international standard considering the caliber of foreign visitors invited for the event.

Our correspondent who went round the nation’s capital observed that right from the Airport through to the City Gate, Nigerian Flag adorned the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua expressway.

The City Gate has also been repainted by Julius Berger PLC. FCTA transport secretariat has also been putting finishing touches to the repairs of the street lights within Abuja.

Findings revealed that visiting Presidents and other invited dignitaries will start arriving the country as from Monday.

The town of Abuja is looking bright and beautiful as some residents were also seen posing in front of solidarity banners while yet others took to the streets to sell All Progressives Congress (APC) regalia.

Buhari will be sworn in at the Eagles Square on Wednesday.

Findings revealed that security operatives will be issuing guidelines concerning the forthcoming swearing-in.
