The Association of University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), has called for the application of effective and positive corporate governance principles to move the Nigerian university system forward.
Public Relations Officer of the association, Naths Tyoaan who is also the Deputy Registrar Establishment, Benue State University, said that the Nigerian university system must respond to the demands of future growth and development by embracing new management techniques emerging from best academic and professional practices all over the world.
He disclosed that it is in this regard that ANUPA is holding its 2018 National conference and Annual General Assembly at the 1000 seating capacity lecture theatre Site 3, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta Sate from Wednesday December 5 till Sunday December 9. Tyoaan disclosed that the theme of the conference is “embracing the future: creativity and innovation in university management”.
