The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has assured the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu of his local council’s resolve to reward him with 80,000 votes.

The council chairman, who doubles as Lagos East Senatorial Coordinator for the Independent Campaign Group made this known yesterday during inauguration of the campaign body in the local council.

Mayor Dele noted that the good works of the past governors of Lagos State from 1999 till date, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Mr Raji Fashola, and the current governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode signals a good tale of continuity and non-stop development.

He further posited that the landmarks achived in the state, which is ongoing, it is also complemented by his administration in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, with an outlined plan of total transformation, all these will definitely brighten the chance of the party ahead of the forthcoming polls.

“Ahead of any electioneering period, one approach is sacrosanct, developmental antecedents of a party at helm of affairs can’t be ignored in the scheme of things”

“Our party, the All Progressives Congress has a well-detailed blueprint for the development of Lagos, this is evident in the laudable projects embarked on from 1999 till date”

“All these reflect the genuine commitment of continuity, and i strongly believe Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu will adhere to the laid down formula for infrastructural development”

On modus operandi for campaign, the chairman said the party will adopt an encompassing approach to penetrate all strata of the society.

“This election is to achieve a sweeping victory, it is not jamboree to window dress politically , but to show strength that the All Progressives Congress is a party domiciled in the hearts of the populace”

“Hence, we must to start roll up our sleeves to embark on the needful assignment, where strategy will be designed to sell the gospel of our candidate to the electorate, and such must be arduous for the opposition to decipher”

Also speaking, the newly sworn-in coordinator of the group in the local council, Hon. Peter Bamisaye assured all members of running an inclusive campaign style, stressing that it will be seen as first of its kind in any campaign voyage.

The swearing in ceremony was conducted by Barrister Femi Bodunwa at the council’s party’s secretariat.
