The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, the Afuntade I, has felicitated with Governor Kayode Fayemi on his election as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
The monarch described Fayemi’s victory as an epochal achievement and the governor as a trailblazer because no other governor from the Southwest had been elected chairman of the forum in the past 20 years.
Oba Alabi prayed God to give the governor the wisdom and wherewithal to pilot the affairs of the forum successfully.
He also congratulated the people of Ekiti State for the “unparalleled feat” the governor achieved.
