APC and its romance with uncommonality

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole is currently pulling it off as an uncommon political party chairman in the country.

As APC national chairman, he is currently in the eye of the storm, the type he was recently embroiled in with the tingods of the National Assembly and for which he did not bat an eyelid. He made them look diminished.

Now, he’s engaging some of his governors and it seems no side is ready to give or take a quarter. It promises to be the most exciting political battle of this dispensation.

If my impudence is permitted, I want to say discipline, or lack of it, is behind this seeming stand-off. Any enterprise or organisation that lacks discipline in its ranks survives only for a while. And how this game plays out, with main party leader Muhammad Buhari as umpire, remains to be seen.

Will it be be ‘nunc  dimittis’ for the party or the strengthening and rejuvenation of the APC? The next few days will be very telling.
