APC chieftain to Buhari: retain Ogbeh in your cabinet

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from Benue State, and leader of the “Idoma for Buhari Campaign Organisation” (IBCO), Hon. Iwodi Friday Adogo, has urged the president to ensure that the immediate past Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbe is retained in his new cabinet.

Adogo who made the call in Lokoja, Kogi State, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, on his successful inauguration for the second term in office.

He said that his group, “comprising many energetic men and women condemns in totality, some propagandists who are purportedly calling on President Buhari to jettison the immediate past minister of agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbe, and replace him with another person from Benue State”.

He said that he is holding series of consultations with Nigerians of like minds, on the way forward for his (Benue) state and the country as a whole.

He described those calling for Ogbeh’s removal as unpatriotic and selfish.

He condemned a group which has purportedly been in the forefront of the call against Ogbeh’s retention, saying that the former minister’s achievements are overwhelming for anybody to express any doubt about his capability.
