The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Adekunle Raif Adeniji as the substantive Director of Administration.
His appointment followed the resignation of the former Director of Administration, Professor Alaba Adediwura.
Adeniji, who holds a PhD in Public Administration, is a former Assistant Registrar at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where he was responsible for overseeing critical administrative functions and ensuring efficient operations of the university’s administrative framework.
He was later elected as Chairman of Ife Local Government Council on the platform of APC, where his exceptional leadership significantly improved public services and fostered strong relationships with community stakeholders across party affiliations.

His tenure as chairman was marked with transparent governance withpractical and pragmatic solutions to local challenges which earned him widespread respect and recognition.
According to the party, Adeniji’s deep understanding of public administration, proven leadership abilities, and unwavering commitment to public service singled him out as an ideallycandidate that is perfectly suited for the role of Director of Administration in the Bureaucracy of the largest political party in Africa.
As Director of Administration and coordinator of staff, Adeniji will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the National Secretariat and also supervise the implementation of policy objectives and strategies of the National Working Committee (NWC) to promote political programmes for the party.
