The National Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dayo Israel, has commiserated with Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi over the deaths of his mother, Hajiya Maryam, and first son, Abdulwahab.

Israel, who sent his commiseration with the governor in a statement yesterday in Abuja, described the incident as tragic and unfortunate.

The condolence message was issued on behalf of APC youths across the country and the Diaspora.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Abdulwahab died in a car crash on December 26, last year.

The incident occurred barely 24 hours after Hajiya Maryam Namadi’s death and burial.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family and relatives of the governor.

“While the party is still mourning the loss of our dear mother, I was shocked to receive the heartbreaking news of our brother’s unbelievable demise too.

“Who are we to question Allah? We can only pray to Allah to grant them Al-Jannatul Fir’daus and give the governor and his family the strength to bear the irreplaceable losses.”
