An entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Oladipupo Omojolowo, has urged the government to retrain armed officers so they can effectively execute their duties.
Omojolowo spoke while giving out cash gifts to the needy and widows in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to him, armed officers need proper re-orientation and re-training to checkmate their excesses.
He said: “Not all of them are bad as there are many good ones among them, they, however, need proper re-training.”

The pandemic, Omojolowo noted, has affected many businesses, but people need to stay above board.
“As an entrepreneur, I manage to pay my workers, though I can’t pay them in full. But after COVID-19, they will enjoy their full payment,” he added.
The philanthropist, who praised the Lagos State government’s efforts in containing the virus, urged the three tiers of governmentt to do more by taking care of senior citizens, the needy and widows.
