Why is the PLC Auction gaining so much popularity?

Moreover, today, it is the most convenient way to purchase a car, which gives the buyer unlimited choice – from SUVs to sports cars, from new models to used ones.

This inspection can provide additional information about the car that can help you make a final purchase decision.

What clients are saying about PLC Auction

More than any advertising, PLC Auction’s reputation is evidenced by its positive reviews of the company.

    1. Richard, works as a tester, lives in Vilnius in Lithuania

I was planning to buy a new car, but due to the current situation at the last moment I had to give up this idea. I decided to import a car from the USA, inspired by the positive experience of two comrades. I chose from three companies, but stopped at PLC, because only here I received adequate consultation.  Later I did not regret the choice. I liked the functionality of the site, the possibility of verification. I ordered a “live” test and even gave up one option, because it turned out not everything was as it was described. Delivery took 1.5 months, which I think is a very good indicator. I did not pay anything extra, everything is transparent. It is convenient that there is an opportunity to track the location of the car on the way to the customer.

    1. Viktor is a refugee from Ukraine, also lives in Lithuania, works as a trader, brought a car from Korea

In the Baltics there are good offers on the secondary market, but I wanted a Korean with gas. In general, after wandering around the sites offering their services for the delivery of used cars, I decided to entrust the car to PLC. Very convenient platform, easy search. In fact, the purchase is no more complicated than shopping in a regular online store, all the questions on the documents is solved by the company, so my role is terribly simple: I choose, pay and wait. The car was delivered for about 1,5 months. The price turned out to be the same as the estimated price. The condition of the car – a complete match with the description. I recommend.

    1. Anna, lives in Riga, works as an English teacher, drove a 2021 Volkswagen Golf from the USA)

This is the case when the first pancake is not a failure at all. I had no experience in buying, or indeed in operating cars at all. So I entrusted the whole process to the company’s specialists, so to speak “turnkey”. They helped me to choose a car, checked it. I got full answers to all my questions at all stages, so I was confident that I was doing everything right from the beginning until I sat behind the wheel of my car. In the end, the savings were very significant, not to mention the condition and equipment. Minor defects were eliminated within a week and cost me about 700 euros more. In general, the service is excellent, you can trust them completely, even if you are a “dummy” in this business.

  • 2023 poll risks cancellation if our candidates are excluded, Action Alliance tells INEC

2023 poll risks cancellation if our candidates are excluded, Action Alliance tells INEC

The Action Alliance (AA) has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of failing to recognize its candidates for this year’s general election.

National Chairman, Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje, said his party was at a loss as to why the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu-led INEC was reluctant to accept the list of candidates.

He said this was despite INEC being aware of several court judgments, including those of the Court of Appeal, recognising him as the authentic National Chairman of the party.

Omo-Aje spoke in Abuja on Saturday at the unveiling of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) as part of the AA’s ongoing campaign and mobilisation strategy.

Omo-Aje, who accused the INEC Chair of being sympathetic to the party’s sacked National Chairman – Kenneth Udeze, stated that the electoral body would imperil the general elections if his party ‘s candidates were unlawfully excluded.

He said his party will challenge such unlawful exclusion in court, including asking for a total cancellation of all the elections.

Omo-Aje said: “INEC Chairman has refused to upload the list of all our party’s candidates for 2023 elections from Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje, the authentic National Chairman.

“And this he (Yakubu) is doing in defiance of various court orders as that asked him to recognize Omo-Aje as National Chairman and, desist from further dealings with Kenneth Udeze.

“Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in honouring of the list submitted by Kenneth Udeze, whom court judgments had classified as an ‘interloper,’ is acting illegally. This smells of an agenda to ambush 2023 general elections.

“We are doing this to alert all concerned, most especially other political parties, who are already investing heavily in their campaigns right now; the National Assembly and other Nigerians, who are looking up to better election following the amended Electoral Acts, that is being applauded widely.

“It must be noted here going forward that Prof Mahmood Yakubu is already setting a booby trap on the road to 2023 general elections

“Our plans are in phases on this matter. Starting with this, our next move is to pass a vote of no confidence in the leadership of the commission as headed by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu. We have no trust that he can organize free, fair, and credible general elections.

“After this, we shall move to the National Assembly on a protest and, to submit our protest letter and to inform our lawmakers that, if Mahmood is not called to order, there will be negative consequential effects on the outcome of 2023 elections.

“We shall use all legal channels to ensure we get justice against any form of exclusion from presenting our candidates for elections, and every such election stands the chances of annulment by law,” Omo-Aje said.

Justice Zainab Abubakar of the Federal High Court, Abuja had, in a December 22, 2022 ruling, rejected Udeze’s application to set aside the court’s November 4, 2022 judgement recognising the candidates produced by the Omo-Aje leadership of the party.

Justice Abubakar noted that Udeze’s suspension and expulsion as the AA Chairman had been upheld in two judgments issued by the Court of Appeal.

In the November 4 judgement (which was also delivered by Justice Abubakar) the court ordered INEC to accept the list of candidates submitted to it by the Omo-Aje leadership of the AA and to discountenance the candidates submitted by Udeze, among which was Major Hamzat Al-Mustpha, listed as a presidential candidate.

In the December 22 ruling, Justice Abubakar noted that, with the two subsisting judgments of the Court of Appeal and another decision by a Federal High Court in Abeokuta, Udeze cannot lawfully lay claim to being the Chairman of the party.

The judge described Udeze as a busy body and meddlesome interloper, trying to interfere in the affairs of the party from which he was suspended and later expelled.

The two judgments of the Court of Appeal were delivered on January 7 and November 11, 2022, while the ruling by the Federal High Court in Abeokuta was delivered on September 8, 2022 by Justice J. O. Abdulmalik in a suit marked: FHC/AB/CS/120/2022.

Oyo PDP united for Atiku, says ex-lawmaker Olasupo

Former representative of Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa federal constituency Hon. Olasupo Abiodun has assured the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State is united in support of the presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

He said all candidates of the party, including its presidential candidate will enjoy support of PDP members in the State.

Speaking in Ibadan while featuring on a live radio programme, Olasupo said: “PDP in Oyo State is in support of Atiku. As party members, we are in support of all candidates of our party. We are talking of Oyo State, Makinde has done everything we want, my community is an example.

“As an insider, whatever I tell you about this case, you can take to the bank. We have just one candidate and that is Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar.

“In 2019, Atiku said sell NNPC and they said he was a thief. Now it has been privatised. Go and check the records of NNPC, it has been on the negative.

Speaking on national issues, Olasupo said President Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged flagrant violation of the CBN Act and other policy crisis have left Nigerians poorer.

He said the decision of the presidency to allow the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) print more than the stipulated five percent of the naira denominations amounys to abhorrence, saying the nation needs a true leadership to escape the free downward slope of its economy.

“CBN acts only allows for the printing of money to cover for shortfall in income to the federal government but not exceeding 5% of previous year income of the government.

“Buhari government has been averaging N4tr per annum since inception which means the country should not have exceeded N800b but records show exceedingly more than that.

”The economy today is in shambles, we are borrowing to service loans while Nigerians are stupefied as to where the nationally-generated revenues are going, we must change the course before this ship is wrecked by APC.”

He noted that as Nigeria has been experiencing bleak economic growth, ethnic disunity and infrastructural decay, claiming the only candidate with the required experience and will to change the country’s fortune for the best is Atiku.

“At this point, we need to critically look at our choices. Nigeria has been so fragmented. We don’t need to play ethnic cards now.

”It is time to elect a leader that will say this is the situation and this is the way to go about it. It will not be an easy solution but at the end of the day it will pay us all, I know Nigerians are ready to make the sacrifice,” he stressed.

  • Buhari signs mental health bill into law as advocates urge enforcement

Buhari signs mental health bill into law as advocates urge enforcement

President Muhammad Buhari has signed the National Mental Health Bill 2021 into law,

marking a major milestone in Nigeria’s efforts to improve support for psychosocial wellbeing.

The new Mental Health Bill is the first legislative reform adopted in the field since the country’s Independence.

The regulation, assented to last Thursday, establishes human rights protections for those with mental health conditions, such as banning discrimination in housing, employment, medical, and other

    social services.

It also guarantees that those receiving treatments have the right to participate in

formulating their medical plans and cannot have forced treatment, seclusion, or other methods of restraint — common practices in mental health facilities — without appropriate safeguards.

“Past legislation was outdated and inhumane,” said Prof. Gboyega Abikoye, the President of the National Association of Clinical Psychologists, whose organisation submitted memoranda during legislative

    drafting.

“The previous regulatory regime was based on the regional Lunacy Act of 1958, a colonial

holdover that needed to be replaced.”

Other provisions of the Bill include establishing a new Mental Health Fund, a Mental Health Department

in the Federal Ministry of Health and a Mental Health Assessment Committee to protect stakeholders.

    Read Also:

Additionally, it expands community-based coverage and improves the care and management of those with mental health conditions.

The Bill has been in the works for over twenty years, but all previous attempts at legislative overall of the sector in 2003 and 2013 failed.

The most recent Bill was introduced in 2019, with public hearings occurring in 2020. On November 28, 2022, the National Assembly passed the Mental Health Bill and transmitted it to the President, according to a memorandum by the Clerk to the National Assembly (CNA), Ojo Olatunde Amos.

“This legislation was a product of decades of advocacy from diverse organizations,” said Chime Asonye, Founder of Nigerian Mental Health, a network of leaders and organizations in the field.

The network helped lead advocacy efforts for the passage of the legislation, including coordinating an open letter to

government officials signed by over 30 of the country’s leading mental health organizations and professional associations.

“The mental health community came together to speak with one voice in support of the Bill. We now need Executive implementation, state governments to domesticate this legislation, and those contesting for elected office to make mental health a national priority.”

The network has also called on the government to enact other critical reforms for those with mental health conditions, such as decriminalizing attempted suicide, which is currently a felony subject to a year in prison.

They point to studies that indicate that criminalisation discourages help-seeking behavior of those facing psychological issues and will challenge effective dispensation of the Mental Health Bill.

The body also urges the National Assembly to ensure gazetted copies of the Bill are available to citizens, so they know their new legal rights.

Organisations and professionals within the sector eagerly anticipate that the Bill will bring about necessary changes.

“While there is still a long way to go in developing the mental health sector in

Nigeria, this law is a step in the right direction,” they added
