THE Permanent Secretary Ministry of Petroleum Resources Bitrus Nabasu has told authors in the country to project the image of Nigeria to the global community.
Nabasu made this known when he received members of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Abuja chapter at the ministry.
The delegation was led by the National President of ANA, Ahmed Maiwada and its Secretary Collins Eze on a condolence visit to the Chairman of the chapter in the ministry, Halima Usman who recently lost her father, Pa Dankuka Yilwa.
Nabasu while expressing gratitude to the authors for the visit observed they had a critical role to play in projecting the image of the country to the global community.
In a statement by ANA, the permanent secretary indicated an interest in joining the association upon the completion of his book which he said was ongoing.
ANA national president described the bereaved member as a pillar not only to Abuja chapter of the association but to the national body of the association.
He praised Usman for her roles in keeping the association united and standing.
