Bandits have reportedly abducted seven persons, including three women and killed one villager in Anguwar Gajere, Kutemashi Ward, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Nation gathered the bandits also rustled about 60 cows during the afternoon attack on the village.
A resident, Mohammed Birnin Gwari, told journalists the bandits arrived on motorcycles around 1:00pm on Saturday and started shooting sporadically.

According to him: “Three women, four men and a number of cows were rustled by the bandits after killing one person.”
A former Councillor of the ward, Adamu Kutemashi, confirmed the incident.
Kaduna Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.
When contacted for confirmation, Police spokesman ASP Mohammed Jaloge promised to get details from the area and get back to the press.
He was yet to do so as at the time of this report.
