Baptist Academy Old Students Association (BAOSA) has honoured outstanding alumni for their service to the association and humanity.
This was done at its annual awards ceremony and reunion dinner held on the school premises in Lagos.
The newly-elected President of BAOSA, Mr. Akin Fatunke, said the association is committed to giving back to its alma mater and taking it to an enviable height.
“We will make sure that at all times, we give back to the school- our knowledge, resources, our time, our treasure and everything that surrounds it. This is our objective,” he said.
Fatunke said his administration would raise educational standard in the school and ensure transparency in the affairs of the association.

The General Secretary, Mr. Tunji Akingbade, advised the students to be good ambassadors of the school. He enjoined them to work hard and be serious with their studies, for them to get to the pinnacle of their career.
“Students of this school are lucky to be here. They are in a very good school, a great school. I urge them to be serious with their studies, work hard to excel and keep the name of the school flying high,” Akingbade said.
The former president of BAOSA, Mr. Lanre Idowu, said the event should have held last year, but it was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He congratulated Fatunke on his election.
The awardees include Mr. Kome Ajise, Rear Admiral Austin Oyagha (retd), Dr. Ade Tinubu, Mr. Olayinka Omotosho, Mr. Olumide Ajomale, among others.
