Against the backdrop of the rising insecurity across the country, the Bayelsa State Police Command has said it will leave no stone unturned to provide adequate security for the residents of the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mike Okoli, therefore, reassured the people of the state and residents alike of adequate security before, during and after the Easter festivity.

A statement yesterday by the command’s spokesman, SP Asinim Butswat, quoted the commissioner as saying that the police had prepared a comprehensive operation order that will effectively cover all places of worship.
He equally said the operation would also cover recreation centres, criminal flashpoints and all critical infrastructures in the state to ensure a hitch-free Easter celebration.
