Nollywood actress Abiola Adebayo has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to find a lasting solution to the poor economy, saying it has forced many people to resort to begging for survival.
Adebayo noted that her inbox was filled with people seeking help, lamenting that she was unable to meet all their financial needs.
The film star, who recently tied the nuptial knot, said it was a sad truth that the average Nigerian could no longer afford basic amenities.
Adebayo, in a post on her Instagram handle, said: “A lot of Nigerians have become beggars. I know some people who are perpetual beggars but some don’t wish (to be so), but, apparently, they are without choices.”

“I sincerely wish I could help the guys but right now, my expenses are higher than my income and I’m trying to cut costs too, I’m really sorry.
“Dear Mr. President, there is so much suffering in the land, please sir, start from food, a lot of people are hungry and they need help.
“God bless you as you critically look into this.”
