The governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Wednesday dissolved his cabinet.
According to him, the dissolution takes immediate effect.
The governor asked his former cabinet members to handover immediately to the most senior officers in their various ministries.
He thanked them for serving in his cabinet, saying he appreciated their efforts as commissioners while in office.

However, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike is not affected.
The Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo is now Special Adviser on Information and Communication.
The commissioner for finance, Idris Hashiru is now Special Adviser on Budget and Planning, while the state Accountant General, Alhaji Momoh Jibril and the State Auditor General, Mallam Yakubu Okala and the Chief Press Secretary to the Game, Mallam Muhammed Onogu were reinstated.
It will be recalled that the governor sacked all special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants and some boards members, in November.
The fate of LG administrators is however unknown.
