A female COVID-19 patient has absconded from the Minna isolation centre, Niger Commissioner for Health, Dr. Muhammed Makusidi has disclosed.
According to him, the escapee, who is a confirmed case from Kano, absconded from the centre.
He expressed fear over the danger she poses to the state.

Makunsidi explained the female patient had started exhibiting symptoms of the virus from Kano but sneaked into the state.
He said she was picked up by members of the state COVID-19 Committee following tip off by people in the community.
