The funeral prayer, led by the Sokoto State Grand Khadi Tambari Usman, was attended by hundreds of Muslim faithful, including Deputy Governor Munir Daniya.

Dignitaries at the burial included Sokoto State House of Assembly Speaker Aminu Achida, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Sa’idu Umar, as well as members of House of Representative and the House of Assembly.

According to the President, the late Abdulkadir’s humility, maturity and penchant for facilitating reconciliation among members will be sorely missed at a time the APC is rebuilding and repositioning to deliver on its promises.

“I mourn with his political and professional associates, particularly members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), for they have also lost a worthy compatriot.
