Captain Balo: Taking Nigerian hospitality global

The mindset of business owners and managers points to one thing; the need to be extraordinary, energetic, and creative. It has been said that the country’s present economic downturn, as well as the economic sector’s and financial crises, have motivated Nigerian youths to learn and implement business skills.

Blogging, fashion artistry, creative works, illustration, and business consultation are just a few instances of these skills.

In a conversation, Oluwaseun Abdulhafis Balogun, a foreign businessman, highlighted his uniqueness. Nonetheless, the ardent businessman was born on April 11, 1990, in Nigeria’s western area, and his roots can be traced back to that region. Hence, Ogun State.

Popularly known as Captain Balo, Oluwaseun was born and nurtured in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, where he obtained his education from an elementary school. He got a Bachelor’s Degree from the Bells University of Technology in Ota, Ogun State, and a Federal Aviation Administration pilot’s license.

As such, he is the first and only Nigerian to run a hospitality company, with commercial ties mostly with famous people and corporate people who have visited Miami to vacation.

Oluwaseun, on the other hand, plans to build his hospitality business by training and instructing dedicated individuals who want to work in the industry in Miami and around the world.

Furthermore, the difficulties he has had arise from navigating the business because there was no clear plan to follow, so he had to build and make mistakes along the way. “I didn’t get a lot of attention at first, and people didn’t trust me with their money,” he says, “but now I’ve developed a very reputable brand, and people seek my services from all over the world.”
