    Reality TV star Handi has disclosed that she previously dated fellow housemate Ocee outside the house.

    Speaking with Shaun and Wanni, she described their relationship as casual, stating, “We were just hooking up.”

    Handi noted that Ocee’s possessive behaviour led to conflicts, including a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend at a club.

    Wanni expressed disapproval of Ocee, mentioning she would have taken issue with Handi if she pursued a relationship with him in the house.

    Below is their conversation:

    Shaun: “Ocee told me you [Handi] and he used to be a thing outside. Oh my God! If it was Wanni, I wouldn’t have had a thing with her, because that’s her ex in the same house with her. I’d feel some type of way.”

    Handi: “Ocee was territorial. He went to speak to my ex-boyfriend in a club. It caused a rift, he was irritated.

    “Wanni was even asking me how I was doing something with Ocee because he wasn’t a nice guy to me. We were just f*cking.”

    Wanni: “I didn’t like the guy when I just heard she’s going there, we’ll fight.”

    Recall that Ocee had earlier announced he was expecting a child with his partner outside the house.

    Big Brother Naija contestant Kassia has opened up about the challenges of pretending to be just “besties” with her husband and partner, Kellyrae, in the house.

    The couple, known as DoubleKay, adopted this strategy to avoid revealing their marital status to fellow housemates.

    However, after two weeks of maintaining the charade, Kassia confessed to Biggie during a diary session that it’s becoming difficult for her to cope.

    She expressed frustration at not being able to show affection to Kellyrae, citing tasks like the Aquafina Padi of Life challenge where she had to restrain herself.

    “This whole bestie thing that we are doing is really getting to me, sometimes I just wanna jump on him [Kellyrae] but I can’t because of this whole bestie thing,” she lamented.

    “Most of the tasks that we are asked to do, like the Aquafina Padi of Life task we did yesterday, I couldn’t really express myself because I didn’t want the house to know that we were married. It hasn’t been easy, Big Brother”, she said.

    Kellyrae plans to create a diversion by pretending to be interested in Anita and Handi, hoping to shift attention away from his relationship with Kassia.

    Chinwe was incredulous, questioning how her valuable jewelry ended up in Nelly’s possession.

    Big Brother Naija housemate, Handi, has revealed her past struggles with drug addiction. 

    During the Aquafina Padi of life task on Tuesday night, Handi opened up to her twin sister, Wanni, about how she almost lost her life to drug addiction.

    In an emotional moment, Handi expressed gratitude to Wanni for standing by her throughout her struggles.

    She said: “You always make sure I’m good throughout everything in this house.

    “Even when I almost lost my life to drug addiction, you stayed with me all the step of the way.

    “My trustworthy padi, you will tell me the guy is trying to run us street. You know everything about me both good and bad and you never judge me.

    “Thank you for always being there for me even when I felt I was never enough.”

    Newly evicted BBNaija housemate Nne of the Ndi Nne duo shared her experience of living in the house with her aunt, Chinne. 

    In a recent interview on Outsyd by Pulse, Nne expressed gratitude for having her aunt by her side.

    She said: “I loved having a family member with me, someone who knew me and could take this journey with me. I loved almost every part of being with her, she was the right person to go into the house with. When it comes to things I didn’t like, I can’t think of anything right now because it was mostly good.”

    Nne highlighted the complementary nature of their relationship, with her aunt’s extroverted personality helping to bring her out of her introverted shell. 

    She said: “She was the right person because she is family, she is blood and she understands me. I’m an introvert and she’s an extrovert so we kind of compliment each other about the downsides to each other and where we don’t shine the brightest, the other person helps lift the other person up,” she said.

    Nne and Chinne’s eviction came after Streeze, the custodians of the BBNaija house, exercised their power to evict a pair, following votes from viewers.
