    BBNaija Shine Ya Eye: Kingsize eviction announcement gets fans talking

    BBNaija Shine Ya Eye will take a new turn this Sunday as the show will record a first of its kind eviction.

    On Friday, September 3, 2021, organisers unveiled plans for what has been tagged a ‘Kingsize Eviction’.

    With no further details announced, viewers and fans are speculating that no less than five housemates will exit the reality show on Sunday, which will be the end of the sixth week.

    Prior to the announcement, the eviction pattern has seen two-three housemates exit the show.

    The last eviction saw JMK, Sammie and Maria exit the show after emerging in the bottom three spot in week five.

    For the sixth week, 15 housemates of the 17 currently playing for the N90 million grand prize are up for eviction.

    On Monday, all housemates excluding the heads of house – Jaypaul and Jackie B – solely depend on viewers and fans votes to remain in the game.

    Tega couldn’t hold back the tears after Big Brother asked if she would like to discuss anything with him.

    She said: “Me crying has nothing to do with the House, I’m just in my emotions.”

    Though Tega refused to disclose the reason for her breaking down and emotional state, Big Brother consoled her and advised her to be strong for better days.

    Angel has explained why she has suddenly become friendly with Queen.

    Angel has been drawn to Queen after the two shared life experiences.

    During her Diary session, Angel told Big Brother about newly formed alliances in the House.

    Angel said: “I got closer to Queen recently and realised she’s a good and sweet person.”

    Angel said she became friendly with Queen because she found out she is a nice and sweet person, who is the opposite of what she thought earlier.

    She blamed the lack of communication for the distance between her and Queen.

    “We disagreed earlier because of lack of communication but after we spoke recently I realised she’s not that kind of person I imagined.”

    Queen and Angel had not been on good terms in the House since the former got into the show.

    The two got into a heated argument, which almost led to a fight in the first week of Queen’s entrance into the House.

    Boma, in a conversation with Cross, said that Angel would have been evicted from the show if not for him.

    According to him, if he had confirmed something that Angel was alleged to have done, she would have been evicted from the House.

    After the housemates’ Boomplay task, Liquorose, while discussing the incident with Tega and Pere, said Boma was right about Angel being a nobody.

    She noted that it’s just because they all are in Big Brother’s house that Angel feels privileged to sit and discuss with other housemates.

    “It’s just because all of us are in this house together. It’s a normal thing everyone will want to talk to you anyhow and it’s ok.

    “I can remember when we entered the house in the first week, she came to tell me that she feels honoured to be in the same house with me.

    “But then I can remember the day I had an altercation with her and she said some things to me and I am like what rubbish. It’s just because we are in this house together.

    “It’s not like am trying to brag but on a normal day she can’t see me anywhere outside the house, she can only talk to me through the comment section,” Liquorose said.

    BBNaija Shine Ya Eye ex-Head Of House, Boma’s fling with Angel is gone with the dust and the two now loathe one another.

    On Thursday evening, Boma and Angel got into a heated argument after he called her a ‘kiss and tell’.

    Angel said she never told anyone what happened between both of them at the executive lounge and warned him to stay away from her in the house.

    This escalated quickly as they insulted each other with Boma referring to her as someone who is mentally ill, adding that her biggest achievement is BBNaija.

    Saskay has denied Cross the chance of being on her bed overnight.

    Saskay said she has no plans of spending the night on any guy’s bed in the house.

    In a conversation with Cross on Thursday, Saskay said she can accommodate him on her bed for just conversations but will end once it’s time to sleep.

    “We could talk but when it’s time to sleep you either go to your bed or I go to mine. I will neither allow a man to sleep on my bed nor will I sleep on his bed,” she said.

    Continuing, Saskay said: “For me, it’s a lot safer that way because I want to play safe. I’m equally not saying that you can’t come to bed, all I’m saying is that whenever it’s time to sleep everyone goes to their respective beds.”

    Cross had requested Saskay sleeps on his bed or allow him to sleep in hers after she was caught kissing Jaypaul on Wednesday night.

    Afropop singer Teniola Apata aka Teni has declared support for Liquorose, one of the popular housemates at in Big Brother Naija season 6 “Shine Ya Eye” edition.

    Liquorose, whose real name is Roseline Omokhoa Afije, is the first BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate to hit a million followers on Instagram

    Before her appearance on the reality TV show, Liquorose had an active career as a video vixen and a dancer.

    She has been quite active in the entertainment industry since 2012.

    Liquorose, who is the immediate past HOH, has interestingly starred in one of Teni’s popular music video, “Askamaya” as a vixen.

    Teni, via an Instagram post, where she shared the housemate’s photos declared absolute support for her.

    The 28-yesr-old singer went further to plead passionately with her fans to also vote for the housemate and ensure she remains in the BBNaija house till the last day.

    She wrote: “Real recognize real and you see this babygurl, she’s one of the realest in that house. She and her team starred in Askamaya video, I am rooting for her.

    “Team Teni Oya let’s vote. Make una help me keep her till day 72 abeg.”
