BBnaija Shine Ya Eye resident gym instructor Saga has admitted that he deliberately avoids his friend Pere.

Saga, in a conversation with Nini, said Nini should avoid Pere because he avoids him after he noticed he’s lonely and exhibiting suicidal behaviours.

“Pere is trying to trigger you, he knows you don’t like him. How many times do you see us talk together, when he’s coming, when I hear his voice, I always want to hide. Pere is always instigating things. He’s lonely as f**k and exhibiting suicidal behaviors.”

Saga went on to say Pere can’t be trusted and is always trying to trigger Nini.

Citing examples, Saga mentioned the wildcard issue where other housemates later found out Pere and Maria were the wildcards.

However, Nini tried to explain to Saga that Pere has his back in the house but he doubted.

Meanwhile, Pere, in one of his Diary Sessions, told Biggie that Saga and Yousef had his back in the house.

Saskay and Nini took time out to discuss how Cross decided to share condoms to coupled up housemates after the seventh Saturday night party.

Saskay had brought up the discussion on Sunday morning in the salon.

According to Saskay, she was outside with JayPaul when Cross walked up to them to give them a condom.

“Cross just walked up to us to give us one condom. At first I thought he was high but then he even told us it’s better to play safe and then he left,” she said.

Confirming Saskay’s words, Nini said Cross did share condoms with her and Saga.

“Cross came to where I and Saga were discussing to give us one too. Honestly I felt it was an instruction that was given to him I didn’t know he was just being silly,” Nini said.

However, Liquorose said she didn’t know condoms were being shared by Cross after the party as she and Emmanuel were already inside the Head of house lounge.

For the seventh Saturday night party, the housemates gave viewers and fans a reason to stay glued to their TV screens.

Shining in different lovely attires, they turned up with so much energy to match the rhythm blaring from the disc jockey’s speakers.

Here are some quick tit-bits from the party:

The photo booth

Big Brother decided to spoil the remaining 13 housemates for the party. The pre-party photo booth, which was introduced in the fifth week, was re-installed by Tecno for the housemates to enjoy some photo sessions. Though not all the 13 housemates went through the session, usual suspects like Saga, Emmanuel, Pere, Queen, Angel, Nini, Jaypaul and Whitemoney took more pictures than others. Jackie B and Saskay also joined the usual suspects to bring out their inner modeling abilities.

DJ Joenel turned it up

Joenel became the eighth DJ to play for the housemates in the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition.

DJ Joenel followed in the footsteps of DJ Sose, DJ Xclusive, DJ Big N and DJ Nana, DJ Wysei, DJ Dayzee, and DJ Shawn.

DJ Joenel, sure didn’t come to play as he kept the 13 remaining housemates on their feet all night. Though not so popular, DJ Joenel registered himself as the one of the DJs that had appeared on the show and have proved their worth. Viewers’ agreed that DJ Joenel delivered one of the best parties of the season yet. The young disc jockey thrilled with a fine mix of Nigerian classic hits but was unsuccessful in keeping some housemates away from the mirrors.

One interesting feat about Joenel’s performance was his ability to switch the beats and rhyme with so much ease.

Between Jackie B, Whitemoney, Queen

A seemingly brewing love triangle involving Jackie B, Whitemoney, and Queen, which threatened to disrupt the seventh week for the three participants, had a new twist at the party. While Jackie B went straight into the groove – spending the better part of the night in front of the reflective glasses, Whitemoney and Queen had a late start.

Queen, who was on her feet all through the party – and at some point, on the floor where she rolled with new dance steps – stayed a little late swaying her hips in the same rhythm with Angel just in front of the reflective glasses. Whitemoney had begun the party sitting quietly for a bit before he soon caught the spirit and switched between dancing with Jackie B and Queen. At some other points, he also did some solo runs.

The lovebirds

As usual, viewers had a full dose of friendships turned relationships and situationships at the party. From the usual suspects, Nini and Saga, Emmanuel and Liquorose, to new entrants Saskay and Jaypaul, the Shine Ya Eye partners had viewers watching with rapt attention as they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. At some point, Saskay and Jaypaul stopped dancing to whisper what seemed like some sweet little nonsense and giggle in love. Liquorose and Emmanuel were not left out as they enjoyed intense gaze into each other’s eyes while holding themselves tight. Saga and Nini switched up their dance moves by engaging in more erotic dance moves leaving viewers and fans with wild imaginations.

Everyone came prepared to party

Since the fifth Saturday night party, the housemates who escaped nomination and eviction – and even the ones on the nomination list – threw caution to the wind to enjoy the nights. For the seventh week, the 13 remaining housemates let down their guards and they drank, danced, and grooved into the wee hours of Sunday night. Aside from Pere, who danced at a very restricted and slow pace, other housemates turned up. Even the ships on the dance floor took time out from their entanglements to display their dancing abilities. From Emmanuel to Liquorose, Saga, Jackie B, Whitemoney, Jaypaul, and Queen, the housemates savoured the fun of the moment to full capacity.

Cross remains the party beast

Again, Cross came fully prepared. The housemates, who at different times took time out to mop the dance floor, remained one of the centres of action on Saturday night. Though Saga and Liquorose tried to give him a run for his money on the dance floor, the party beast was too smooth to be overthrown. Cross’ party life aura on Saturday nights has continued to rub off on other housemates like Yousef.

Hate it or love it, Cross has crested his name in gold in the history of BBNaija for being the party beast. And as always, he wasn’t wearing his green native top at the end of the party.

BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Cross has told Big Brother that ex-Head Of House, Pere is often misunderstood.

Cross, during his diary session, mentioned that he was getting fond of Pere and realised he is a cool guy who is just being misunderstood following his behaviour during the first few weeks of the reality show.

“Pere is just being misunderstood and is beginning to grow on me, I think he has no wahala.

“It takes a lot to know someone but for some reason my heart is opening and I’m warming up to him.

“We are exchanging stuff and I’ve realised he is a cool guy,” he said.

Cross and other housemates had criticised Pere in the third and fourth week for his behaviour after a heated argument with Whitemoney.

Queen has apologised to Whitemoney for being jealous and misunderstanding his relationship with Jackie B.

In a discussion with Whitemoney on Friday night, Queen said she felt she would lose the relationship with Whitemoney if Jacki B was in the picture.

“I want to say I’m sorry for misunderstanding your friendship with Jackie B.

“I didn’t see it that way because you initially told me you wouldn’t emotionally get involved with anyone and I was just happy that it was me and you that’s very close.

“I like our friendship and wasn’t ready to share you with anyone and I felt like if you guys were going emotional I would lose my relationship with you.

“I felt I won’t be able to play with you the way we used to because you know how I will react to such things and I was angry because I was literally going to be lonely since you are the only one I vibe with well in here.”

On Wednesday, Queen confronted Whitemoney over his closeness to Jackie B.

She approached accused him of not being loyal to her.

According to her, Whitemoney’s emotional attachment with Jackie B will affect the friendship she’s trying to build.

Queen further told Whitemoney to avoid her if he would not be loyal to her, adding that she’s a jealous person.

BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Pere has explained why he fell in love with one of the evicted housemates, Maria.

The former Head of House, in a discussion with Liquorose and Angel on Friday night,, said Maria is the only girl in the house he fell for and that’s because of her personality.

“I didn’t fall for Maria because of her beauty but her personality, so I can’t fall for you no matter what you do,” Pere told Angel.

He further said: “Maria is the only girl in this house I fell for and I don’t regret it.”

Angel responded said she can make Pere fall for her if she wants.

BBNaija Shine Ya Eye resident chef, Whitemony seems to have bitten more than he can chew over his relationship with Jackie B and Queen.

Queen, whom Whitemoney has consistently called a sister, may have gotten a little too emotionally attached to him.

Jealousy got the better part of Queen on Friday as she lashed out at Whitemoney while accusing him of sharing details about her to Jackie B.

The former beauty queen insisted that she felt betrayed by Whitemoney’s closeness to Jackie B.

She further stated that she has perceived some toxic energy from the housemate, who was formally entangled with evicted housemate Michael.

“You’re someone I really like and I really talk to, you had no right to share whatever issues we had with her cause I didn’t share with anybody in this house,” Queen fired.

A clearly shocked Whitemoney, however, tried to express his shock at Queen’s refusal to let him associate with other female housemates.

Whitemoney had mentioned that he was attracted to Jackie B and the pair have spent some time together this week.

Ex-Big Brother housemate Uti Nwachukwu has predicted five finalists for the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition.

Uti listed WhiteMoney, Liquorose, Pere, Angel and Cross as his top five finalists.

Uti noted that the five Shine Ya Eye housemates will make it to the finale unless there’s a twist or tight nomination.

“From the online activity, it is obvious who the BBNaija top 5 would be this year as long as there are no awkward or tight nominations:

Whitemoney and Angel are up for possible eviction on the seventh Sunday live show hosted by Ebuka Obi Uchendu.

Angel has opened up on her relationship with Cross after the two shared a passionate kiss after the seventh Saturday night party.

“My relationship with Cross is a weird friendship, we just look out for each other. It’s weird because I was not close to him when we got in,” Angel said.

Speaking about her relationship with Cross, Angel further said Cross understands her a lot and is very mature.

“We just understand each other, we don’t need to say too much to each other before he understands me. He’s very mature and always there for me when I need him, we have loyalty in our relationship.”
