10 days after BBNaija Shine Ya Eye kicked off, viewers kept asking questions on Monday night, August 2 after a technical hitch disrupted the broadcast.

The pictures from the live feed were frozen, leading to the transmission taken off for a while.

The technical hitch lasted one hour and this saw many fans and viewers of the reality show reacting on social media.

The hitch occurred between 9:30pm and 10:30pm.

This is the first technical hitch occurring in the sixth edition of the BBNaija show.

Fans of Whitemoney have taken to social media to express disappointment and anger towards Maria, one of the wildcards in BBNaija Shina Ya Eye house.

Whitemoney’s fan couldn’t hide their anger after Maria nominated their favourite for eviction.

Maria and Pere nominated Whitemoney for possible eviction ahead of the Sunday live eviction show with many of Whitemoney fans upset with Maria.

Maria, who also nominated Beatrice, Yerins, and Jaypaul eventually, picked Whitemoney, a housemate she is quite friendly with, as she struggled with tears.

Whitemoney, who has been marked a strong contender, had many of the fans soliciting votes to keep him in the house.

Reacting to the nomination, @baddest_cash maintained that Whitemoney fans don’t care despite Maria and Pere’s nomination because he’s going nowhere.

Other fans took a swipe at Maria, who was crying and enjoyed a hug from Whitemoney after the nominated housemates were announced by Biggie.

@Erlohim wrote: “I don’t understand it when people keep saying that ‘it’s a game’. Isn’t that the more reason Maria should have been calculative?

“How smart is it to nominate Whitemoney, same guy who claimed to have saved you from instant eviction? Where’s the logic in that?”

In his first public reaction on Tuesday morning after the nomination, Whitemoney told JayPaul that he was sure he was going to be up for eviction.

He went on to say he wondered why the two wildcards were looking all gloomy after nominating the housemates.

He concluded by saying it’s a game and it’s nothing to worry about.

To buttress this, Dr Olufunmilayo hailed Maria for playing her cards right,” White Money is a strong contender. I personally think he will be in top five. So he will be fine even if nominated.

‘’However Maria realising the guy is a strong contender and nominating him despite their closeness shows she’s a ruthless player with a clear head.

BBNaija Shine ya Eye took a new dimension on Monday night after the two wildcards, Maria and Pere put up five housemates up for nomination ahead of the second live eviction show.

The housemates up for eviction are Beatrice, Yerins, Niyi, Whitemoney and Yousef.

Maria, who got a nomination hedge of putting four housemates up for the Sunday night eviction show, nominated Beatrice, JayPaul, Whitemoney and Yerins for possible eviction on Sunday.

The second wildcard, Pere nominated Beatrice, Niyi, Yerins, and Whitemoney up for possible eviction on Sunday.

As the Head Of House, Biggie gave Boma the privilege to use his veto power to save one of the housemates up for eviction and replace with another. Using his power, Boma replaced JayPaul with Yousef.

Boma also chose Jackie B as his deputy.

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Yousef has revealed he has a crush on Liquorose.

Yousef told fellow housemate Whitemoney during a conversation on Monday.

Yousef and Liquorose had kissed during a truth and dare game on Sunday night.

Speaking to Whitemoney, Yousef said he kissed Liquorose because he is crushing on her.

He said although he is yet to tell her about his feeling but he waited for Sunday night.

“Liquorose is my crush but I haven’t told her. For real she is my crush,” said Yousef

”Although I haven’t told her, I waited for that moment to kiss her during last night’s game.”

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Cross, has said Angel does not want any commitment in a relationship.

Cross said this while advising Sammie over his feelings for Angel.

Sammie had told Cross about his feelings for Angel while seeking his advice.

Cross however told him to act according to as he only sees Angel as one who only live for the moment and doesn’t want anything serious in a relationship.

“She just wants to vibe, she doesn’t want to be tied down, she doesn’t want a relationship, she doesn’t want anything. She just wants a guy in the house that she’s going to be close to and rely on, and that’s going to be you,” he said.

For the second week, Biggie kicked off with reward and punishment for the housemates.

Biggie rewarded each housemate with a total of 700 Abeg Naira for making it to a new week in the house.

Also, he punished them for flouting the house rules and ignoring Angel, a fellow housemate who was told by big brother himself to tell other others to prepare for the live show which was yesterday.

In a message from big brother which was read out to the house by the first HOH, Peace, Biggie said the housemates will no longer be reminded to prepare for the live show.

And as punishment for flouting the house rules, they will work as dress up as big brother’s ninjas and help separate the grain of rice which has accidentally mixed with the grain of beans. All they need will be provided for them in the store room.

BBNaija Shine ya Eye housemate Boma has won the second week’s Head of House game.

Boma becomes the second Head of House.

With all the housemates trying their luck to win the die game of chance, Boma emerged victorious.

Without any obstacle in his way, his plaque reached number 26 before the sound of the buzzer, making him the winner.

Boma, who was the first housemate to step into the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye house, became the first male Head of House for this season.

BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemate Angel has left viewers gasping for breath when she got the privilege to examine and play with fellow housemate, Pere’s crotch during a truth or dare game.

This is coming after the live eviction show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu motivated the housemates to cheer up and stop being boring.

After the live eviction show where Pere and Maria were revealed as wildcards, the housemates decided to play the ‘Truth or Dare’ game and it was during the game that the scene occurred.

In the game, Pere was summoned for Angel to reach out his crotch for a second.

Angel was thrilled to move her hand into Pere’s trousers and grabbed his manhood.

Pere screamed as other housemates burst into laughter.

BBNaija Shine Ya Eye housemate and one of the two wild cards, Maria, has said that she knew all the while who the second wild card was.

Maria said this during a conversation with some of the housemates on Monday morning.

She said she was 99% sure Pere was the second Wild Card because his acting wasn’t perfect considering what he says but she just couldn’t tell him.

She said: “I knew he was my second wildcard. I knew it was me and him and I couldn’t tell him, I was sure, almost 99% sure.

“Sometimes when what he was saying did not make sense. I will tell him, are you making sense?”

The housemates failed to identify the two Wild Cards in the house making it impossible for the wildcards to leave.
