On Saturday, some of the last five Housemates were spotted looting Biggie’s store ahead of their final eviction.

The Housemates decided to go on a looting spree on their 69th day in the show.

From Nengi to Dorathy, the Housemates were caught moving Biggie’s items that include provisions and food items quicker than flash.

So bad was it that some of the pilferers also took toilet papers, milk and even packs of condoms to keep ahead of their final exit from the House.

The final five happily took items they thought would be needed outside the House.

Defending their actions, Nengi said it’s not stealing when one takes from one’s Big Brother.

Biggie is yet to react to their actions.

Dorathy has admitted feelings for some of the evicted Housemates hours before the show ends.

On day 69, the Housemates went into the Garden to chat about almost everything around the show.

Dorathy was put on the hotseat and the four remaining Housemates drilled her on questions about who she liked in the House.

“My feelings for Bright Owere just based on infatuation but I liked his lips, fingers and feet,” she said.

Continuing her confession, Dorathy said: “I also liked Kiddwaya at some point.”

Vee asked if she kissed Bright O and Dorathy claimed not to remember.

She later told them she didn’t kiss Bright O but Neo’s reaction said otherwise as he kept exclaiming.

While some of them guessed that she liked Bright O, all of them were so certain that she had strong feelings for Prince beyond their obvious friendship.

An inquisitive Vee decided to drill Dorathy and asked her about Prince.

Responding, Dorathy admitted to having the conversation with Prince about how going into a relationship would make their friendship awkward.

The BBNaija Lockdown will come to a sizzling end on Sunday, September 27 after 10 weeks – 70 days.

As is the tradition, a Head of House emerges to coordinate activities for each week. The Head of House is also expected to convey messages from Biggie to the Housemates while ensuring they work in harmony to win their weekly wager tasks.

For every week in the fifth edition of BBNaija tagged Lockdown edition, 10 out of the 20 Housemates emerged Heads of House at different times – with some winning twice.

Here are the 10 Heads of House that led BBNaija Lockdown in 10 weeks:

    1. HoH: Nengi

Reign: Week 1 and Week 9

    Deputy: Wathoni

The 22-year-old from Bayelsa emerged the first HoH. As requested by Biggie, Nengi chose Wathoni as Deputy. She led the 20 Housemates to their first wager task, which they lost under her reign.

Again, in week nine, Nengi emerged the HoH and this time, she had to lead seven Housemates without a deputy to win their wager task.

Nengi had a good relationship with many during her tenure and she also occupied the role of a Deputy Head of House once. Nengi is among the five finalists of the show.

    1. HoH: Lucy

    Reign: Week 2

    Deputy: Prince

Lucy took over from Nengi in week two. As the second HoH, and as directed by Biggie, Lucy chose Prince as Deputy. Lucy had a rough reign and for the second week in a row, the Housemates lost their wager task under her reign.

Lucy had altercations with a number of the Housemates that included Kaisha and Ka3na. She was evicted in week seven after spending 49 days in the House.

    1. HoH: Ozo

Reign: Week 3 and Week 6

    Deputy: Dorathy, Nengi

Ozo established himself as one of the Housemates with leadership qualities. He first emerged HoH in week three to lead 18 Housemates to their first wager task.

The victory was a concerted effort by Ozo to break the yoke and register his name on the BBNaija golden book. In his first reign, Dorathy acted as Deputy. In week six, Ozo emerged HoH for the second time and the first to achieve the feat in the fifth season. He then chose Nengi and led the 12 remaining Housemates to the second round of victory. Ozo was evicted in week nine after 63 days in the House.

    1. HoH: Erica

Reign: Week 4 and Week 7

    Deputy: Kiddwaya, Prince

Erica joined the long list of females that dominated the HoH list for the BBNaija Lockdown edition in week four. Her emergence got Kiddwaya the opportunity to enjoy the HoH lounge for the first time. Erica led 16 Housemates to another loss of wager task. She registered her name on the list of Housemates that nabbed the title twice in the Lockdown edition. In her first reign, Erica chose Kiddwaya. However, her second coming in week seven had her picking Prince as Deputy. This feat saw Prince taking up the role of Deputy Head of House for the second time in five weeks. For her second reign, Erica led the House to lose their wager task again. Erica was disqualified for having three strikes after many infringements and flouting the rules in week seven after 49 days in the House.

    1. HoH: Kiddwaya

    Reign: Week 5

    Deputy: TolaniBaj

Kiddwaya’s reign was in week five and he chose Tolanibaj as Deputy after Biggie stopped his decision to pick Erica, who was his wish. Kiddwaya led 14 Housemates to another loss of wager task in the fifth week. He also incurred a strike and was barred from participating in the HoH challenge or enjoying HoH privileges. Kiddwaya was evicted from the show in the eighth week after 56 days in the House.

    1. HoH: TrikyTee

    Reign: Week 8

    Deputy: Laycon

In week eight, TrikyTee emerged HoH after stiff competition. After several weeks of trying, the lucky Housemate emerged the winner, and to help during his reign, TrikyTee chose Laycon as Deputy. The duo managed to secure a win for the eight wager task. Though the Housemates had reduced to nine, TrikyTee and Laycon were able to steer the House to safe harbour. TrikyTee was evicted from the show in the ninth week after 63 days in the House.

    1. HoH: Vee

    Reign: Week 10

Week 10 of the BBNaija Lockdown saw Biggie changing the whole process of the Head of House. After throwing a treat for the last five, Biggie informed how the HoH will emerge.

The process, according to him, will see each of the last five emerge HoH aside Nengi, who had emerged twice in the first and ninth weeks.

Biggie further noted each of HoH will reign for 24 hours after which the last five will pick the next HoH.

Vee was the first to emerge from the twist making her the 10th HoH in the 10th week. The UK-trained singer was one of the few Housemates who never had the chance to win the HoH games or serve as Deputy.

    1. HoH: Laycon

    Reign: Week 10

Laycon took over from Vee the tenth week. Laycon led the five Housemates to win the Lipton task that saw each of them walking away with N1million each.

    1. HoH: Dorathy

    Reign: Week 10

Following the new twists at the beginning of the 10th week, Dorathy emerged the Head of House on day 67. As expected, her reign lasted 24 hours. Dorathy was one of the few Housemates who never had the chance to win the HoH games as Deputy.

    1. HoH: Neo

    Reign: Week 10

On Day 68, Neo took over on completion of Dorathy’s 24 hours tenure. When asked who they wanted as the new HoH, they all echoed Neo’s name. An excited Neo gladly accepted the position and soon found his way to the HoH seat. Neo was one of the few Housemates never to win the HoH or serve as  Deputy.

    BBNaija Lockdown: Week ten recap

    By Gbenga Bada

Big Brother Naija Lockdown entered the tenth week on Sunday, September 20.

In the tenth week, the last five housemates emerged with Ozo and TrikyTee bowing out of the show.

Nengi was the first to secure her seat in the finale after which she was joined by Vee and Neo for evading nomination and eventual nominations. Laycon, and Dorathy joined the trio to make the last five housemates in the BBNaija Lockdown house.

Following the eviction of TrikyTee and Ozo from the show, just a week after Kiddwaya’s eviction, the number of evicted housemates has totaled 14 with one housemate, Erica, disqualified from the show.

Other evicted housemates are Prince Lucy, Wathoni, TolaniBaj, BrightO, Praise, Kaisha, Tochi, Eric, Ka3na, and Lilo.

Here is a quick recap of the tenth week of the reality TV show that kicked off on Sunday, July 19.

Vee, Laycon emerge Head of House for 24 hours

On Monday, September 21 – day 65 in the BBNaija Lockdown house – Vee emerged the Head of House. Vee’s emergence is coming much after the task by Big Brother for the last five housemates. Unlike other Heads of House, Vee, who became the Head of House for the first time would only have her reign last for 24 hours. After 65 days in the BBNaija Lockdown house, Laycon emerged the Head of House on the 66th day. Laycon was unanimously appointed as the HoH by the four other housemates of the Lockdown edition. Laycon finally got the one position that had eluded him for weeks in the House, the position of the Head of House. The 25-year-old had only been able to secure the position of Deputy HoH to Trikytee in the eighth week.

Laycon, Dorathy, Vee, Nengi, Neo win N5m

BBNaija Lockdown’s last five housemates, Vee, Neo, Nengi, Dorathy, and Laycon won a total of N5 million. Each of the housemates won the sum of N1 million each after a brilliant performance in the Lipton peace task. The housemates participated in the Lipton task on day 66 which amplified peace and allowed them to apply their minds to pen a message to move the nation. The housemates also presented their peace messages looking lovely in the arena. After taking a few hours to pen their different peace messages, the last five housemates were welcomed by a glamorous set up in the arena. They sat in a stately manner arrangement to listen to each other. After their performances, Biggie called the housemates into the lounge and announced that he was happy with their performances in the arena. He announced to the elated housemates that they were all to become influencers for Lipton Ice Tea after walking away with N1,000,000 each.

Nengi weeps as Ozo gets evicted

Nengi couldn’t control her tears following Ozo’s eviction on Sunday, September 20. Though Nengi avoided a kiss from Ozo as he was evicted, she broke down and wept uncontrollably throughout the night. It took the intervention of other housemates to get Nengi back to form. Nengi has since noted that though she wants to win, it’s obvious that she misses Ozo’s presence in the house. Nengi has managed to live with the other four housemates in the tenth and final week of the show.

    The ‘Ships’

In their 10th week in the BBNaija Lockdown house, the platonic relationships seem to be ruling the house after all the pairs have been evicted. The fondness among the housemates has reduced and every move is precipitated by a motive. As it was in the ninth week, the strongest of the Ships – Neo and Vee – has become platonic. The pair have mended fences but remained platonic friends. Though this is not going down with Neo, he has accepted his fate.

    Dorathy and Nengi discuss Ozo

Dorathy and Nengi took the time to relax in the garden and have a drink while they discussed Ozo as well as Nengi and Dorathy’s relationship. Nengi told Dorathy that she was taken aback when she distanced herself as she had actively tried to foster a relationship with her. Dorathy said she distanced herself from Nengi because she did not want to be in the middle of Ozo and Nengi. She did not want to have a situation where Nengi and Ozo argued, and it would be attributed to her. The ladies went on to bring to light all their issues and understand each other all over again.

Following Biggie’s twist to the emergence of Head of House in the 10th week, four of the five finalists have registered their names as Head of House.

With Vee taking the mantle of leadership from Nengi, the ninth and two time Head of House, the twist to the Head of House emergence began on Monday, September 21.

The process, according to Biggie, will see each of the last five Housemates emerge Head of House aside Nengi, who had emerged twice in the last 10 weeks.

Biggie further noted each of the Head of House will reign for 24 hours after which the last five housemates will be asked who should lead next.

So far, Vee, Laycon completed their tenures between Monday and Tuesday.

Dorathy took over the mantle from Laycon for another 24 hours on Wednesday before Neo was agreed, by the Housemates, to reign between Thursday and Friday.

  • Laycon, Nengi, Ozo are big winners as finale draws nearer

Laycon, Nengi, Ozo are big winners as finale draws nearer

    By Gbenga Bada

Laycon, Nengi and Ozo are in the lead as some of the biggest winners in the BBNaija Lockdown.

It’s only a few more days until the curtains are drawn on the fifth edition of Big Brother Naija tagged Lockdown and viewers are eager to know which of the housemates will walk away with the N85 million – the biggest in the history of the show.

While the show has traditionally been a winner-takes-all affair, the organisers have found a formula that enables most, if not all, Housemates leave the show a little richer than they were when they walked into the house.

    How housemates have earned riches:

Housemates have continued to enjoy mutually beneficial partnerships with brands that leverage the popularity of BBNaija to showcase their products and services through a variety of creative tasks and presentations.

The physically and mentally challenging tasks give the housemates a chance to win some mouth-watering prizes.

    Biggest prizes so far

Nengi and Laycon have raked in the highest wins with over N3m each while Trikytee, Ozo, Dorathy, Prince, Vee and Neo have won over N2m.

In the middle of the show, Ozo, Trikytee, Prince, and Nengi won all-expense-paid trips to Dubai courtesy of Pepsi.

An excited Trikytee, who also won N1m from the task alongside Ozo, exclaimed to everyone who cared to listen that the Dubai trip would be his first time out of the country.

Again, Ozo won the Innoson task and got a brand-new car as a reward.

Neo won N500, 000 in the Indomie challenge while Kiddwaya and Dorathy’s presentation during the Oppo Photography task earned them N1m and Oppo Reno 3 phones each.

In the last week of the show, Nengi, Laycon, Vee, Dorathy and Neo won the sum of N1m each in the Lipton task.

As the final day of the season approaches, there’s bound to be even more tasks for the remaining housemates and more opportunities for fatter bank accounts.

The Betway and Darling prizes are yet to be announced and these are worth looking out for.

Only one lucky person will win the N85million grand prize but no one leaves the House a loser.

She spoke to Nengi addressing what she and Ozo shared before his eviction on the Ninth Sunday Live Eviction.

Dorathy, who was Ozo’s first best friend in the House, told Nengi she and Ozo had no romantic relationship but maintained only a brother and sister relationship.

Dorathy mentioned she doesn’t like it when it seems like she’s in a love triangle with Nengi and Ozo.

“It was quite funny when it had to look like the three of us were in a love triangle because I always see Ozo as a brother,” she started.

Neo said this during a conversation with other Housemates.

Neo said: “Fame can be deceiving but I hope to do well with it.

“This house has really blessed me and I just need to find someone who has the same vibe like me and get married.”
