    BBNaija’s Kim Oprah redeems prize as fans win at raffle draw

    BBNaija’s former housemate Kim Oprah has received her prize for winning the Titus x BBN Challenge during the recently concluded Big Brother Naija All-Stars.

     The reality TV star who won the Titus task in Biggie’s house was presented with a N250,000 cheque by the General Manager of Ekulo Group of Companies, Joseph Okonkwo, during a Titus Promo Raffle Draw in Lagos.

     Other prizes won by the brand’s customers at the occasion include cash of one million naira, a double door fridge, air conditioner, a generator, N5,000 for twenty people, carton of Titus, and thirty thousand fuel vouchers.

    According to the MD, the promo is aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship by rewarding loyal consumers across the country.

     “Because of the patronage that Titus Sardine brand has enjoyed within the country over the years, we feel that at times like this, when things are not too rosy economically, our company should find a way of putting a smile on the faces of Nigerians and that is why we came up with this initiative tagged, ‘Titus Win Big Promotion’ to reward Nigerians,” he said.

    Not many know that Nollywood actress, Alex Okoroji wears several other caps aside acting, presenting and broadcasting.

     Okoroji is the President of Women Economic Forum (WEF) West Africa; the G100 Global Chair for Media Arts and Communication and the President of the Nigeria-India Business Council for Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).

     For the first time in history, the Women Economic Forum would be held in West Africa to mark its 107th edition and the three-day event will take place at the 5-star Lagos Oriental Hotel between December 13 and December 15 after the G100 West Africa Meetings happening between December 11 and December 12 at the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Lagos.

Na DJ YK, go help us, remix all our videos later, your own son disowned you that’s why you have no boundaries talking about other people’s children even to the extent of changing their sexuality or wishing them dead, you’re what this picture represents a funny witch so why will I take you seriously,” she said.

    ‘Cultural movies should be encouraged’

    Actor and filmmaker Odunlade Adekola has canvassed more  support and increased production of cultural movies to propel African culture.

     Odunlade told The Nation that it was important for real Nigerian stories to be told by Nigerians, but it needed encouragement from the people.

     He emphasised that the love and viewership of his blockbuster movie, Orisa, serveed as a testament to the genre’s appreciation by fans, while also calling on investors to invest in cultural movies.

     “I think our cultural movies should be encouraged more, we should continue doing it because people want to see it. Like you said “my blockbuster movie”, that means they appreciate it and that is why a lot of people came out to see the movie.      He is one of Nigeria’s prolific actors who have starred in in various chat-topping films. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP).

    Following the National Convention of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Pretty Okafor has been unanimously re-elected to serve another term as the president.

    The well-attended event, which was held at the Nigerian Music House, Lekki, Lagos, witnessed the gathering of major stakeholders in the industry, from across the federation.

    Other members of the newly- elected executive are Sunny Neji as 1st vice president; Zaaki Adzay -2nd vice president; Baba J.F.O- Treasurer; Michael Stevens (Ruggedman) chairman, Media Committee ex officio; Boniface Itodo –(Aitabonny) General Secretary and Fada Bem Paul (Bempee) Assistant General Secretary.

    Another highlight of the event with the theme: Ensuring an inclusive PMAN National Election Process, was the swearing–in of the first female talking drummer, Aralola Olumuyiwa as Governor of PMAN, Lagos State.

    Ara, who said she had many plans for the upliftment of PMAN, especially in Lagos, promised to create awareness on the purpose of PMAN for the Gen Z generation.
