    Responding, Anto said: ‘’Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my weight gain.

    “While I like it a little, I’m still self-conscious because it was not intentional.

    “It’s actually the side effect of a health condition that I’ve been battling. But inshallah, I will be healed soon and going to the gym”.

    Ace singer 2Face Idibia has paid tribute to his late friend and colleague Sound Sultan.

    The singer died in July, 2021 after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma (Throat cancer).

    Two years after his demise, 2face promised to continue mourning his friend till forever.

    2Face shared old photos of himself and the deceased, vowing to mourn his death till he joins the late singer.

    “Mourn U till Eye join u,” he wrote.

    The wife of the late singer also shared a video of him choosing to celebrate his legacy instead of mourning him.

    Before his death, he underwent chemotherapy in the United States.

    Other Nigerian celebrities have celebrated the death anniversary of Sound Sultan.

    Many Nigerian music lovers reacted to the post praying for the repose of the soul of the talented singer.

    Hilda Baci reacts to cooking marathon by other chefs

    Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Bassey ‘Baci‘ has spoken on the recent attempts by different chefs to surpass her feat.

    The Nation reports Baci made history by breaking the the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual) in May 2023.

    She cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon in 2019.

    After Baci broke the record, Chef Dammy and Chef Adeola also embarked on cooking marathons.

    Chef Dammy cooked for 120 hours in Ekiti State while Chef Adeola went for 150 hours in Ile-Oluji, Ondo state.

    However, Chef Dammy explained that she never registered with the Guinness World Records and carried out her cooking marathon just for fun.

    Reacting to the other chefs feats during an interview with Legit NG, Baci stated that she sees herself as a trailblazer and a source of inspiration for numerous individuals who are striving to break her record.

    “I feel I started a trend or like I am pretty much a trailblazer because only a trailblazer will start something and other people will want to do it,” she said.

    In a chat with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Damilola said her marriage crashed because love isn’t enough to sustain a union.

    The thespian said she does not regret divorcing the Ghanaian actor.

    She added the only regard she has for her ex-husband is solely because he is the father of her son.

    According to him, his father was finding it hard to believe because he recalled how they lived in a one room with 13 people in Orile, Lagos state.

    Actor Adewale Alebiosu has cried out over the inadequate and ridiculous amount of money he was once paid at a movie location.

    The veteran actor, who mostly stars in Yoruba movies, claimed that he was once paid N3000 for 11 scenes in a movie.

    In a video making rounds online, Alebiosu said it was an unforgettable moment for him the day he was paid the absurd amount despite working so hard.

    The veteran stated that it was just a few days till Christmas and that he expected to earn enough money for his role to feed his family but it turned out different for him.

    He stated that after getting the N3,000, he boarded a bus and cried uncontrollably till he arrived home.

    This is coming after actress Jaiye Kuti slammed veterans for begging for money online.

    For the past few weeks, veterans like Iya Gbonkan, Lalude, Pariolodo and Alapinni have begged Nigerians over their deteriorating financial status.

    Veteran actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has spoken on the dangers of butt enlargement surgeries (BBL).

    Kanayo expressed his anger in a video while recounting a story relayed to him by a friend residing in the United States.

    According to the actor, his friend shared the heart-wrenching story of a patient, a beautiful young lady, who had undergone butt enlargement surgery.

    The woman subsequently developed a severe infection, leading to hospitalisation.

    The actor further narrated that the patient’s boyfriend, who allegedly encouraged her to undergo the procedure, visited her in the hospital.

    Overwhelmed by the offensive odor emanating from the infection, the boyfriend reportedly made a hasty exit from the ward, expressing disgust.

    Tragically, the young woman died a few days later as a result of the infection caused by the surgery.

    “I am angry physically and spiritually. A friend in the US told me of how a patient, a very beautiful lady came into the hospital after this butt enlargement, she had an infection and her boyfriend who caused her to do that surgery just came into the ward and was feeling irritated” This smell is stinking” he ran out. A few days later, the girl died from the infection, bum bum enlagemment.

    “If Bum Bum enlargement was profitable, why are husbands not giving their wives money to do it.? Bum Bum enlargement is like boyfriend/ girlfriend relationship in Secondary School , not upto the 3% end in marriage. Sadly, this Bum thing many of the ladies do not end as wives.     Moved by the devastating outcome, Kanayo passionately warned against the dangers of butt enlargement surgeries.

    He condemned thise who may want to influence his daughter, Valerie to undergo such procedures, and in a strong spiritual manner, invoked Amadioha, a deity from Igbo land, to bring harm upon those who cause harm through these surgeries.

    “On this note, anybody in the name of bum bum enlargement who will cause my daughter; Valerie, holyghost thunder! May Amadioha from Igbo land combined with Ogun from Ijebu ode k!ll that person,” he cursed.

    Skit maker and singer Lawal Michael Nasiru aka Nasboi has explained why he kicked off his career by replicating Afrobeats star, Davido.

    Nasboi, who broke into the entertainment scene as “Low Budget OBO”, said he was mimicking the DMW boss to get his attention.

    The skit maker spoke while featuring on the interview segment of MTV Base Naija Top 10 recently.

    He said his intention was to get Davido to notice him and showcase his musical talent.

    He explainwd “I started off mimicking Davido. So, the plan was to get David’s attention for my music. I disturbed this guy till he invited me one day and I started playing my music.”

    On why he became a skit maker, Nasboi said:“It my mimics of Davido that started looking like cruise to everybody.

    “So, I said, okay, let’s jump on it. That’s how I jumped on it and it started looking like it demanded for me to start making skits. So, I had no option than to make skits”.
